Also Eden are a rock band who take their inspiration from a wide variety of artists and, whilst often categorised as "progressive", pride themselves on writing and playing songs for listeners, not music for musos. Focused always on strong songwriting, the band constantly evolves its sound across albums such as the widely acclaimed 2011 release on F2 Records, Think Of The Children! and the similarly well-received latest album, also on F2, [REDACTED].

Fronted by Rich Harding, whose dynamic vocal delivery is often likened to that of Fish in his heyday, powerful stories are woven atop a layered, melodic sound, created by the symbiosis of Simon Rogers' intricate guitar work and Andy Rigler's imaginative keyboards. Each of these also shine when it's time for a killer solo, and the whole is underpinned by the rock solid yet inventive rhythm section of Graham Lane and Lee Nicholas.

A first-ever headline festival appearance at Resonance in London last August was followed swiftly by a second, at DanFest in Leicester as part of last Autumn's "Rainbows In Our Minds" mini-tour, and the band promise to feature more new material from the forthcoming album, tentatively entitled "Contours".

With a growing reputation both in the studio and on stage, Also Eden "step close towards the brilliance of their influences without compromising originality or identity" (Classic Rock Presents Prog, live review) and are certainly ones to watch.

Silhouette Biog

Silhouette are a 5 piece Progressive Rock band based in the Netherlands. Their sound is full and rich in melody and will leave you breathless with its wild soaring passages of unbridled music. They are experienced players, having honed their trade on four solid albums worth of material each growing in maturity that sees them arrive at their latest a concept album titled "Beyond the Seventh Wave". This shows the band in full flight and is not just a piece of music, it is an experience.

The band's vocalist/frontman, Brian De Graeve's strong, clear vocals weave the stories that enhance the rich melodic sounds produced from both experienced guitarist Daniel Van Der Weijde and multi keyboardist Erik Laan. These honest and powerful melodies are all given life from a solid foundation delivered by bass player Jurjen Bergsma and drummer Rob Van Nieuwenhuijzen. Make no mistake, Silhouette are moving forwards and upwards pushing the boundaries of Progressive rock as we know it.

Silhouette also succeeded in building a track record on stage by sharing the stage with bands such as RPWL Saga, Credo, Focus, Knight Area, Martigan and others. Silhouette played gigs in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and after already having played in Bilston (vith Landmarq) in 2012 and The Summers End festival in 2013 now Silhouette is now back in the UK for the 3rd time!
